Salty Air

Well it has been almost a month since we moved down here.  I have been enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.  We live in  a spot that is close to a lot of things and since I don't have a car- it has come in handy to keep me entertained.  My mom and dad got us a stroller that has been a lifesaver while down here because I would not be doing as much without it.  And Madison loves it.  If we don't go out by 4pm she will start getting fussy until I put her in the carseat... then if we don't leave soon she starts fussing until we get outside and I put her in the stroller.  Usually, she doesn't make a peep. She loves watching the trees and buildings pass by and eventually will fall asleep.

Stewart got this sweet Jesus action figure for Christmas and Madison loved it.

She got her two months shots and took them like a champ.  She only cried for maybe 30 seconds and was an angel afterward. She was smiling almost right after and slept a lot.  She did get a little fussy at night and seemed a little sore but her dad was there to hold her hand and make her feel better.

She still loves her swing.  A LOT. She also always kicks her right leg.  It's pretty cute.

These next two were taken during a couple mornings.  She is so smiley after sleeping all night and it just melts my mommy heart.

She loves bath time now and is (almost) always a happy girl during and after.

I love her kissable cheeks..

Her dad likes to play dress up with her.  Not the usual princess dresses, but she probably would enjoy them the same amount.

We finally made it to the beach! And Madison loved it.  I thought she wouldn't like the cooler water but she absolutely enjoyed it.  And she liked the sand on her feet, too.

Enjoying her swing even more...

She gave me this look one morning and I couldn't help but take a picture.

Videos!

We are gonna take it way back with these videos since I took forever to get them on the blog... Here is Madison when she was still in my belly.  Gosh.  This was one of my favorite things to do.  Sit and watch her move around.  Even though I got the occasional drop kick to the inside of my pelvis or I felt like she was doing jumping jacks on my ribs, I love love loved it.  It was fun and it was also a reassurance that she was still doing okay.  Toward the end she was really running out of room and would wake me up at night when she wasn't happy with how I was laying.  It really is the most fascinating feeling to have a baby move around in your belly.

This is when she was born.  The nurses told Stewart to take a video for me since I couldn't watch what was happening.

Here is another Stewart took of Madison after we moved into the postpartum hospital room.  Just admiring how perfect our little girl is and what a miracle she really is.

This is her at a little over a month old when I was changing her.  Don't mind my terrible baby talk.  Just look at her adorable smile.

Two Months!

Our cute little Madison is now two months old! She enjoyed all the football during the holidays and even talked her dad and uncle to have her be in charge of the remotes.

She also made a friend during the holidays.

And got a lot of time with her Poulsen cousins.

This is her favorite position. She loves leaning forward and being scrunched.

Happy New Year!

Lori took me to get an awesome pedicure for a baby present. It was awesome

Sometimes I accidentally dress her like a gangster.

Mom got us an awesome stroller for Christmas and madison LoVEs it! I love it too. So nice running with it too.

This is what madison sees when she is in her car seat. We think we have the better view.

Dreaming about flying

I did something different to start the new year. Dyed it and cut it! The lady cut it a lot more than I wanted but oh well! Here are the before and after pictures.

Madison has been being such a perfect baby. She sleeps 6-9 hours a night already and isn't a fussy girl. She will have these random fits but honestly, she is awesome. She is smiling a ton now and is talking up a storm. She is so adorable happy. We are so lucky to have her. And I am enjoying it while it lasts because I don't know how our next kids will be :)

She still loves her swing a ton. If she is crying and I don't know what she wants and have done everything else, I will put her in it and she will stop crying and sometimes even give me a little smile. Sometimes when she is having a hard time falling asleep I will hold her pacifier in and she will grab my finger and fall asleep holding my finger. I love it.

We love our little girl! Happy 2 months our sweet beautiful girl!
