Madison Sees Hollywood

Well, Ste is done with his internship! He has accepted an offer to return to EY after he graduates (he graduates April 2016).  We are so excited to come back for a longer period of time and enjoy more of what Southern California and the people here have to offer! I am also so proud of Stewart for sticking through it and working some 13 and a couple 14 hour shifts.  He amazes me.

I saw this on facebook the other day haha honestly, this was me some days. :)

Madison felt that way, too, sometimes.

But she would always find a way to be happy! That's for sure :)

It might have taken a few walks a day toward the end, but we did it!

And sometimes she would need a nice soft toy to suck on to comfort her while her dad was away.

We had some people come replace our breaker box because our lights have been flickering and turning on and off lately.  The old one was super old and definitely needed to be replaced.  However, while they were over Madison had a pretty bad diaper.  The breaker box is in the room where all her clothes are so we got to hang out outside with no clothes on.  She loved that idea.

But eventually they had to come back on for our walk. (Okay, so, this was before her blow out but we did go on a walk after, also).

SO close to rolling over... just not there yet... She rolled over a few times two months ago, but now she is just stubborn and lazy.

One Saturday morning she wore herself out playing with her toys.  But, obviously, she didn't trust Ste or me because she had a pretty good grip on her zebra.

One of her latest fascinations is water bottles.  She LOVES them.  Doesn't matter how cold they are- she will take it.

She also likes cuddling and feeling safe with her toy Jesus.

This is one of her favorite toys.  And I mean FAVORITE.  She will grab it with both hands and crunch it up and try to fit it in her mouth.  It is one thing that usually always makes her happy.

Since Easter was during General Conference this year I wanted to show off Madison's cute dress at church the Sunday before Easter.

She was a bit fussy during sacrament so Stewart took her out to the foyer to see if she would fall asleep.  She is getting super observant so being in the chapel is sometimes a little much for her to focus on something.

Well, it worked for more than just Madison.

Bathtime is still one of her favorite things.  We have graduated to the actual tub, now, but she can't look at herself in the mirror anymore.  Maybe that will prevent her from being narcissistic?

She has been doing this scatchy thing that is adorable.  She does it whenever she feels something

I love her bubbles, her little tummy, and her bottom lip sticking out.

Oh, and I love when she sleeps on me :)

Having her use her crib toy as a nature book.

We watched the Saturday Morning session of conference at home and Madison enjoyed it.  Especially with her new teething toy.  Because those boys are coming in soon!

We went and met up with Monica's family in Palm  Springs for Easter Weekend.  We got to enjoy some time by the pool.

She couldn't get in all the way because she didn't have the "proper" diaper.  But her dad made sure she got to enjoy the water a little bit.

She got a lot of attention... haha

Madison received her first Easter present and has enjoyed the different textures.  I remember loving this book when I was little so I wanted to get it for her, too.

So adorable.

She enjoyed spending time with her Boehrer cousins!

Since we didn't have room in the backseat to sit by Madison, I would use my phone to take a picture of her to see how she was doing.  I took a lot of pictures.

Sometimes she didn't enjoy being back there alone.  Or the sun in her eyes.

She was extra excited to get out of her carseat when we stopped for lunch so we decided to let her enjoy the highchair.  Well, she certainly did!

This picture broke my heart.  Little tear just sitting on top of her cheek.

After Palm Springs we headed to Sierra Vista, AZ to visit Sunny.  Madison was sure happy to see her cousins and FINALLY get out of her carseat.

We had fun seeing their family. We had a double date night with Sunny and Robbie.  Robbie loved holding Madison during meals.  Even though he ordered ribs at Texas Roadhouse, he still wouldn't let me hold her for him.

Also, this girl turned 5 months! She is almost half a year old! Growing up way too fast....

We came back from Arizona a few days later than expected.  We decided last minute yesterday to go hike to the Hollywood sign.  Mark that off the bucket list! It was a pretty good and fun hike!

Hiking is probably one of my favorite activities with these two.  We all love being outside, Madison loves the carrier we have, and it gets us moving.
